    For this edition, there are a number of papers presented by writers from various leading universities in Indonesia and Europe. Management of various destinations and derivative businesses in the tourism sector, such as catering and culinary i.e. fried rice, are also discussed in this edition. Various phenomena that appear to be simple actually contain many things that can be analyzed scientifically, for example regarding the means of transportation in some island destination, a collaboration paper between Indonesia and France.

    For this edition, there are a number of things presented by researchers from various leading universities. The phenomenon of backpaker is an interesting and in-depth study case study is presented. Customer engagement, which is one of the pillars of the success of a business, is also featured in a case study research. Tourism activities on the borders of a country are also an interesting topic to be reviewed, considering that not all researchers have priviledge of doing so. In a situation that is still covered by the problem of the Covid-19 pandemic, it is also discussed about Health Tourism, restoration of the impact of post-covid-19 tourism, and marketing of food and beverage during Covid. As an closing article, a discussion of the importance of analysis on Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) is presented for the performance of waiters and waitresses.

    Taking into account the ongoing pandemic situation, research on its impact on tourism is also presented. Furthemore, the phenomenon of the food business world on the GoFood online application which is predicted to become a trend in the future presented as new insight. This edition also discusses various research on tourism development in various protected areas such as Bromo mountain, Bangsring underwater, and De Tjolomadoe heritage. Security and safety issues were also discussed at the Sri Gethuk waterfall destination.

    Various methods are also presented in this edition. Qualitative and quantitative methods with various analytical tools were also used by the researchers. You will see SWOT analysis, systematic literature review, regression, and descriptive are used in gaining an understanding of a phenomenon.
