Vol. 8 No. 1 (2025): Edisi 15 Jun 2025

Since 2018, JTEc has been published online in open access. To maintain a high level of academic performance, an Editorial Board has been formed with top academics from various regions. In this edition we get many articles from various leading universities and higher education institutions. We hope that these papers will make a significant contribution to the understanding of various issues of tourism sector development in various regions.

On this occasion, the article on culinary tourism is discussed in relation to Gen z and the sustainability of food sources. In addition, the topic of digital marketing is also raised by one of the authors. The topic of community participation also appears with a case study in Balikpapan. Not to forget the topic that examines the historical potential of the Diponegoro War is also discussed by one of the authors.

We also thank the authors, reviewers, and the editorial board and the entire team involved in publishing this edition. We hope you find it useful, and hopefully we can meet again in the next edition.
