Abstract

The purpose of the community service activity is to improve understanding of packaging and labeling. After the training, participants are expected to understand matters related to packaging and its application in their business activities, so that the resulting product packaging can provide functionality such as information, protection and ease of product handling.The implementation method is carried out through lectures and discussions. The training participants are 20 members of UMKM Giri Sembada. To determine the extent of the training participants' understanding of the material presented, the benchmarks of the pre-test and post-test results are used.The results achieved in this training exceeded the expected target. All participants managed to get a post-test score of ≥ 70 higher than the pre-test result of ≥ 60. In addition, during the implementation there was quite good two-way communication between participants and presenters.
