Abstract
The background of this training is to provide additional knowledge to women, especially mothers who have school-age children, in making balanced nutritious food. The purpose of this community service activity is to improve the knowledge and skills of training participants in making nutritious and practical snacks for school children. This training was held at UPPKA LUMINTU Bintaran on Saint Day, November 23, 2024 with 30 participants for 5 Jpl. The methods used in this activity are lectures, demonstrations and discussions. The results of this activity are that training participants are given knowledge in the form of balanced nutritional needs for school children and practice processing 4 types of nutritious snacks such as cassava balls with pizza seasoning, catfish onigiri, tempeh and chicken rice burgers and filled takoyaki. The conclusion of this activity is that all training participants are very enthusiastic about following the training in making nutritious and practical food for school children, and there is an increase in the skills and knowledge of the training participants. This activity is expected to be implemented by training participants both in the scope of making children's provisions and can be used as a source of business ideas in making nutritious food provisions so that they can minimize the consumption of fast food (junk food). The next recommended activity is to prepare nutritious food supplies for school children.
