Training, Excellent Service, Manager, Pulewulung Tourism Village

Abstract

A tourist village is an ecosystem of attractions, amenities, accessibility, activities, facilities and infrastructure, human resources and community rooted institutions. Pulewulung is a tourist village that is included in the "advanced" classification, however, Pulewulung has a crucial problem, namely the limited ability of human resources in providing comprehensive services in every aspect of tourist activities. If it is not handled immediately, it is feared that it can affect the level of tourist visits. The purpose of the Community Service activity is to improve the competence of tourism village managers and tourism organizers in providing excellent service for tourists visiting Pulewulung Tourism Village. The implementation method consists of pre-implementation, implementation and evaluation. Excellent service training uses an adult education approach, with lecture, brainstorming and discussion methods. Communication in the training was conducted in a multi directional manner to create interactive communication so that trainees could actively participate in the training process. After the training, it is expected that there will be behavioral changes and an increased understanding of the concepts and processes of excellent service. The Evaluation of training results, using pre and post tests with a minimum standard achievement of post test scores ? 60. Of the 27 training participants, 96% achieved a score ? 70. Only 1 (4%) participant scored 60, and there were even two participants who were able to achieve a score of 100.
