Editorial Preface
Deep praise to the God has been expressed as his blessing during the publication of the Journal of Tourism & Education (JTEC) edition 4 (1) 2021. Thank you for choosing JTEC for the canvas of your research conducted publication. From the many articles that have been submitted, we have selected for publication in the current edition.
For this edition, there are a number of things presented by researchers from various leading universities. The phenomenon of backpaker is an interesting and in-depth study case study is presented. Customer engagement, which is one of the pillars of the success of a business, is also featured in a case study research. Tourism activities on the borders of a country are also an interesting topic to be reviewed, considering that not all researchers have priviledge of doing so. In a situation that is still covered by the problem of the Covid-19 pandemic, it is also discussed about Health Tourism, restoration of the impact of post-covid-19 tourism, and marketing of food and beverage during Covid. As an closing article, a discussion of the importance of analysis on Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) is presented for the performance of waiters and waitresses.
We also grateful to the reviewers and the editorial board and the entire team involved in publishing this edition.
This is a brief description of the articles published by JTEC in the 4th Volume No.1, in 2021, hopefully this is useful, happy reading and see you in the next issue.
